Woke Burger King Panders to Muslims After Encouraging Violence Against Conservatives

If only Burger King cared as much about its conservative customers as it does about its Muslim ones.

In its latest showing of wokeness, Burger King in South Africa has decided to pander to Muslims by dropping the word “ham” from “hamburger” on their menu.

What was previously known as a “Double Spicy Hamburger” will now just be a ‘Double Spicy Burger’; the ‘Triple Hamburger with Cheese’ becomes the ‘Triple Burger with Cheese’, and a ‘Hamburger King Jr’ on the kids menu will now be just a ‘Kids Burger,'” according to Business Insider.

Burger King decided to make the move in order “to be more respectful of” its halaal clientele – Muslims who abstain from eating pork products because they consider pigs to be unclean.

The company also wants to avoid any confusion from an apparently growing Muslim customer base. Hamburgers are, of course, made with beef patties and don’t typically have ham in them, but Burger King doesn’t want to risk missing out on any sales because of the misnomer. (Hamburgers are so-named because the first people known to put ground beef patties between bread were in Hamburg, Germany).

If only Burger King had as much concern for its conservative customs as it does for its Muslim customers. But it doesn’t.

The company found itself in a heap of trouble when its official U.K. Twitter account endorsed violence against conservative politicians. After a spate of “milkshakings,” a newfangled trend wherein idiot leftists hurls a milkshake at a conservative politician or demonstrator, Burger King U.K. tweeted the following:

That tweet was on an election weekend in Scotland. Among the “milkshaked” were YouTube personality Sargon of Akkad, whose real name is Carl Benjamin and who ran this year for European Parliament as a member of the United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP), and Nigel Farage, leader of the Brexit Party, who also ran for European Parliament in 2019.

After fierce internet backlash, the company issued a half-baked apology on Twitter.

“We’d never endorse violence – or wasting our delicious milkshakes! So enjoy the weekend and please drink responsibly people,” the brand said.

Of course the company would never “endorse violence,” it will, instead, strongly encourage it with a wink and a nod.

After encouragement from Burger King, the “milkshaking” trend made its way across the Atlantic to the United States, where black clad Antifa thugs and far-leftists began using the tactics against conservative politicians and journalists.

A former political foe reportedly threw a milkshake at Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) after a town hall event in June. Later reports said they were unsure whether the object hurled at Gaetz was actually a milkshake, opting instead to call it an “unidentified beverage,” not that it matters much. Amanda L. Kondrat’yev was arrested and charged with battery for her actions.

Months later, far-left “journalists,” along with a Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) director, celebrated and made excuses on behalf of Antifa when it threw a milkshake at conservative reporter Andy Ngo, who was covering an Antifa riot in Portland, Oregon. As it turned out, that milkshake was laced with cement, and along with a violent beating caused Ngo a brain bleed, for which he was required to stay overnight in the hospital.

It’s all fun and games until someone gets killed.

If only Burger King cared as much about its conservative customers as it does about its Muslim ones.
