A morning show host from a known conspiracy theorist network, infamous for spreading the “Russian collusion” hoax for nearly three years, continued the charade Saturday morning, claiming that Russia was behind the death of elite pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
“A guy who had information that would have destroyed rich and powerful men’s lives ends up dead in his jail cell. How predictably…Russian,” MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough said on Twitter.
Scarborough, like many of us, is skeptical of Epstein’s suicide, given Epstein’s position as an elitist insider. But placing the blame on Russia is dubious at best.
“He reportedly tried to kill himself two weeks ago. And is allowed to finish the job now? Bullshit,” he said. “Powerful Democratic and Republican figures breathing a huge sigh of relief—as well as a Harvard professor or two.”
He also Retweeted Hollywood producer Brian Koppelman, who shared the same sentiment.
“Epstein suicide. Sure. Seems likely. Probably what happened. Hey, folks, we’re Russia now. Enjoy it,” Koppelman said.
Interestingly, the sentiment on both sides of the political aisle seems to be that Epstein did not commit suicide, but rather that something more nefarious is at play – perhaps a higher power wanting to do away with someone who had the ability bring the established political order to its knees.
LauraLoomer.us exclusively reported Saturday morning that Epstein was cold to the touch in his jail cell when he was reportedly found dead in his cell at 6:20am EST.
But to suggest that Epstein’s death is somehow related to the “Russian collusion” hoax, which has been long-discredited (if it could ever be lent any credibility in the first place) is ludicrous. Scarborough is a known hatchet-man for the established political order, threatened by President Donald J. Trump’s ascendance to the nation’s highest office, and he remained true to form Saturday.
Ironically, Scarborough bemoaned the ability for the “rich and powerful” to get away with criminal activity.
“The rich and powerful get away with raping young girls…again,” he said.
On this, we agree. The crimes that the elite commit with impunity are disgusting, and dispel the idea of “blind justice” in America. But coming from Scarborough, such a statement is richly ironic. Scarborough is the “rich and powerful.”
The body of 28-year-old Lori Klausutis was found in Scarborough’s congressional office in 2001. She died under mysterious circumstances, though authorities insist that no foul play was involved.
“The medical examiner assigned to the case determined that Klausutis had fainted as a result of an abnormal heart rhythm, which caused her to fall and hit her head on a desk,” AOL reported. “Moreover, Klausutis had apparently complained to a colleague earlier in the day that she had not been feeling well.”
Trump and Scarborough are sworn political enemies, and Trump has railed against Scarborough for Klausutis’ death in the past.
“So now that Matt Lauer is gone when will the Fake News practitioners at NBC be terminating the contract of Phil Griffin? And will they terminate low ratings Joe Scarborough based on the “unsolved mystery” that took place in Florida years ago? Investigate!” he said in 2017.
