Twitter Suspends McConnell’s Campaign For Posting Video Of Gun Control Activist’s Profanity-Laced Rant

Monopolist tech giant Twitter suspended Senate Majority Leader Leader Mitch McConnell’s campaign on Wednesday after the Republican lawmaker posted footage of a leftist protester’s
profanity-laced tirade.

The protester was one of approximately 25 “social justice warriors” who surrounded McConnell’s home Sunday night making death threats against the senator and his family as they blamed him for last week’s mass shootings.

McConnell’s campaign manager Kevin Golden blasted the social platform in interview with the Courier Journal, arguing Twitter allows violent threats and baseless allegations against the senator to go unchecked while censoring McConnell from fighting back.

“This morning, Twitter locked our account for posting the video of real-world, violent threats made against Mitch McConnell. This is a problem with the speech police in America today,” Golden said. “The Lexington Herald-Leader can attack Mitch with cartoon tombstones of his opponents. But we can’t mock it.”

“Twitter will allow the words of “Massacre Mitch” to trend nationally on their platform, but locks our account for posting actual threats against us,” Golden added. “We appealed and Twitter
stood by their decision, saying our account will remain locked until we delete the video.”

Outraged gun control activists rallied in front of McConnell’s
Kentucky home Sunday night, shouting “No Trump, no KKK, no Fascist USA!” The so-called social justice warriors dragged shovels on the ground erupting chaos, as they berated McConnell, screaming the Republican senator is a “murder turtle.”

The footage McConnell’s campaign was banned for posting featured one of the protesters, a reported Sen. Elizabeth Warren supporter, exclaiming: “The bitch is home… we keep seeing the lights go on and off,” one protester said. “This hoe really thought he was
going to get ready to be at home after he hurt his little punk ass shoulder. Bitch, don’t nobody give a fuck! Fuck your thoughts
and prayers, Mitch. Fuck you, fuck your wife, fuck everything you stand for. ”

Protests calling for McConnell to be murdered spawned after Democrat lawmakers demanded he bring the Senate, which is on a month-long recess, back in session to vote on gun control legislation
in the aftermath of last weekend’s two mass shooting.

Law enforcement officers were on the scene and prevented violence from escalating during the protest.

“Just stab the motherfucker in the heart, please,” a female protester is heard saying in footage of the protest.
