Human Skull Trade Booming On Instagram, Facebook, While Conservative Commentators Banned

While conservative voices are being banned across social media platforms, the human remains market is on the rise on the Instagram black market.

Instagrammers are taking real human skulls, giving them faux tribal make overs, and selling them for thousands of dollars.

In an interview with Wired, Harry Scrag, who has amassed more than 34,000 followers on Instagram, recounted how he began profiting from his skull collection.

Scrag reportedly first purchased a box containing 12 human skulls and a hyena skeleton on eBay seven years ago and was “struck by the beauty of the bared teeth and cavernous eyes, devoid of all life.”

He shared photos of the craniums on Instagram and gained a large following using the hashtags ‘#skull’, “#skeleton,’ ‘#curiousity’ and began trading and selling remains on the photo-sharing network.

“I wasn’t really expecting much,” he told the publication. “But obviously people want what they haven’t got.” Over the next few months, he sold a few of the items, and with the extra cash, bought more skulls and put more up for trade.

The human remains traders are facing backlash for “culturally appropriating,” the Sun reports, by marketing the skulls in “traditional” or “tribal” decorations, including seeds, gems.

Research led by Stockholm University found in 2017, a skull sells upwards of $20,000.00

According to a 2016 study published in the Journal of Forensic Sciences, human skulls are also sold on Yahoo and Facebook.

While monopolistic tech giants permit the sale of human remains and body parts – skulls, bones, articulated skeletons, bodily fluids, preserved tissues and organs – on their platforms, Silicon Valley is increasingly and brazenly banning conservatives voices and Trump supporters.

Twitter and Facebook on Thursday suspended the account of Mary Ann Mendoza, an angel mom who lost her son to an illegal alien in 2014, for criticizing Democratic presidential candidate and California Sen. Kamala Harris.

In May, Instagram and Facebook permanently banned Laura Loomer, Alex Jones, Paul Nehlen, Milo Yiannopoulos, Paul Joseph from their platforms accusing the conservative journalists of being dangerous individuals and organizations.

Less than a month before the 2018 U.S. midterm elections, Facebook  purged more than 800 pages and accounts, predominantly conservative-leaning news organizations, as the social network clamps down on “inauthentic behavior.”

Is selling human body parts on the Instagram black market more authentic than being a Trump supporter? Mark Zuckerberg clearly seems to think so…
