Left-wing media outlets are railing against Ali Alexander after the prominent conservative strategist slammed Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) for lying about her race to score political points during Thursday’s presidential debate.

During the debate, Harris attacked Joe Biden’s admitted track record of working with segregationist Democrat throughout his political career and voting for bussing in the 1970s. Harris exclaimed it was her responsibility to address the issue of segregation as the only black American on the stage and a victim of segregation.

“I will direct this at Vice President Biden, I do not believe you are a racist, and I agree with you when you commit yourself to the importance of finding common ground,” Harris said. “But I also believe, it’s personal and it was hurtful to hear you talk about the reputations of two United States senator who built their reputations and career on the segregation of race in this country.”

“You also worked with them to oppose bussing. There was a little girl in California who was part of the second class to integrate her public schools and she was bussed to school every day. That little girl was me,” she continued.

Harris’ assertions, Alexander argued, are premised on lies: Her father immigrated from Jamaica and late mother from India and the California Democrat was raised in Canada.

In fact, Alexander noted, Harris’ father owned slaves in Jamaica during the Jim Crow era.

“It offends me when some woman who was raised in Canada by an Indian mother, taken from her brown-skinned Jamaican father, whose family owned slaves, invokes the Jim Crow era that my race suffered, for two minutes of debate time,” he added

Alexander likened Harris to Hillary Clinton, who has notoriously called black men “superpredators.” The first generation American who is billing herself a civil rights leader, he argued, singlehandedly disadvantaged the black community as a California’s attorney general.

Alexander’s tweet was picked up by Donald Trump Jr., who tweeted it to his nearly 3.6 million followers.

But the liberal media is castigating Alexander for calling attention to Harris’ flagrant hypocrisy and dishonesty, branding him a conspiracy theorist intent on advancing white supremacy.

Headlines blared warnings Friday, such as leftist rag Buzzfeed’s: “A New Racist Campaign Against Kamala Harris Is Taking Shape”.

“Just as Barack Obama’s US citizenship and background became a full-fledged conspiracy theory — promoted at the time by Donald Trump — Harris has also been targeted with disinformation questioning her race and legitimacy as a US citizen,” the publication cautioned.

Newsweek warns, “Bots Suspected of Spreading Tweet Claiming Kamala Harris Isn’t Black Enough.”

The New York Times chimed in: “Donald Trump Jr. Shares, Then Deletes, a Tweet Questioning Kamala Harris’s Race”

The Daily Beast piled on, “Kamala Harris Is Surging and Birtherism Is Back,” claiming Alexander is “driving a white nationalist wedge through black communities.”

Harris’s team denounced Alexander’s comment as racist.

“This is the same type of racist attacks his father used to attack Barack Obama. It didn’t work then and it won’t work now,” a Harris spokesperson told The Daily Beast.

Harris frequently evokes the language of being a civil rights leader, but as California attorney general she defended the 3 strikes law, which resulted in the incarceration of black Americans at a rate 12 times higher than whites. She refused to support a federal order to expand an early parole program, arguing it would deplete their stock of prison labor, particularly inmates who fight wildfires.

In February, Harris was accused of pandering to black Americans after telling famous hip-hop DJs she smoked marijuana in college while listening to Snoop Dogg and Tupac. Yet, her college years proceeded the release of any albums released by the acclaimed rap artists. While she frames herself as a pro-weed candidate, her record as district attorney of San Francisco and as California attorney general was quite the opposite.

As district attorney, she increased convictions of drug dealers from 56 percent to 74 percent within just three years. She also tightened loopholes in bail and drug programs, resulting in more prison time for drug offenders.

As California’s attorney general, she also allowed the federal government to crack down on legal medicinal dispensaries. She refused to join other states’ efforts to remove marijuana from the Drug Enforcement Administration’s list of most dangerous substances, leading the marijuana lobby to back a pro-pot Republican candidate during her re-election.
