Investigative watchdog Project Veritas spoke anonymously to a Google insider who confirmed the tech monopoly’s scorched-earth policy against free speech.
Google is devoted to preventing anything like the 2016 election of Donald Trump from happening again, the whistleblower told Project Veritas.
Non-progressive voices on YouTube, a Google-owned platform, are also covertly being suppressed, the insider said, but assuring politicians like Trump never get elected is the tech giant’s priority.
The election of Trump ignited a dramatic shift among Google’s executives, prompting the company to abandoned its early commitment to foster self-expression and “giving everyone a voice” and become dedicated to censor “hate,” the insider warns.
“There’s this façade about what they’re doing, but what they’re actually doing, what the employees are actually seeing inside the company is different. And, people need to know what’s going on with Google, and that they are not an objective piece – they’re not an objective source of information,” the whistleblower told Project Veritas’s founder James O’Keefe. “They are a highly biased political machine that is bent on never letting somebody like Donald Trump come to power again.”
Conservative and pro-Trump content is deemed as “hate” by Google executives, the insider continued.
“Right after Donald Trump won the election in 2016, the company did a complete 180 in what they thought was important, before they thought self-expression, and giving everyone a voice was important, but now they’re like, ‘Hey, there’s a lot of hate.’ And because there’s a lot of hate and misogyny and racism, that’s the reason why Donald Trump got elected.
“They started talking about the need to combat hate and racism online, and also at YouTube. They had the same talks by the CEO, Susan, and they talked about combating that and getting rid of unfairness.”
Project Veritas’s expose of Google also contains undercover footage in which a Google executive declares the company’s goal is to employ “responsible innovation” to ensure its products are utilized to to stop Trump in 2020.
Internal documents title “The Good Censor” obtained last year by Breitbart News substantiates the insiders accusations. The documents summarize a briefing produced by Google argues that due to a variety of factors, including the election of President Trump, the “American tradition” of free speech on the internet is no longer viable.
The briefing labels the ideal of unfiltered free speech on the internet a “utopian narrative” that has been “undermined” by recent global events as well as “bad behavior” on the part of users.
Claims that social media giants are politically neutral are demonstrably false.
Over the last 14 years, employees of Alphabet, the parent of Google, “gave 90% of their political donations, or $15.5 million, to Democrats, according to a study GovPredict, a Silicon Valley political data research firm. Only $1.6 million was donated to Republicans.
Another stud by GovPredict shows Amazon employees gave 90 percent of their political donations to Democratic political action committees since 2006, and just 10 percent to Republican PACs.
Meanwhile, Facebooks insists it is preventing certain kinds of free speech, banning individuals as “Hate Agents,” to protect its users, as the company brazenly paves the way for future propaganda and control.
In May, Facebook banned Louis Farrakhan and Alex Jones, ” also removed right-wing personalities Paul Nehlen, Milo Yiannopoulos, Paul Joseph Watson and Laura Loomer, along with Jones’ site, Infowars, claiming they violated its rule against “dangerous individuals. The ban extended to fan pages and other related accounts. Trump supporting political commentator and rapper, An0maly, was permanently banned from Facebook on Monday.
