Author and filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza called out big tech fascists during a segment on Fox News’ Watters’ World program earlier this week. When asked about how Facebook banned Milo Yiannopoulos, Laura Loomer, Alex Jones, and Paul Jospeh Watson, D’Souza addressed Facebook and Twitter’s dishonest censorship practices in a panel discussion that included former Trump advisor Corey Lewandoski.
Watters implied that people like Loomer and others were been banned for incitement or calls to violence, a point that D’Souza pointed out was not the case.
“The scary thing is that the people they are shutting down are not doing that. Laura Loomer is trying to expose things, and she fights against Islamic influence, but she’s not calling for any incitement of violence. Essentially Facebook is just targeting conservatives on the right, and who is next? It could be any of us. I think this is a very alarming thing. These are people (Facebook & Twitter) with absolutely no regard for free speech or the First Amendment.”
D’Souza continued by slamming Facebook for having no regard for free speech and the constitution, reasoning that the latest round of censorship was a targeted attack on conservatives. Lewandoski had his own take, calling on Facebook to ban the New York Times from Facebook for their recent anti-Semitic coverage of President Trump.
“They aren’t looking to ban people on the left. Hamas has accounts,” D’Souza concluded, addressing an important long running double-standard on Facebook.
It seems to not be a violation of Facebook and Twitter’s terms of service or rules to allow violent Islamic terrorist organizations on the social media platforms, but if someone asks tough questions about Islam or leading Democrat politicians, Facebook will snuff them out, ban them, and label them as a “dangerous individual”, like they did to Loomer, Yiannopoulos, Jones, and Watson.
The selective application of the “Terms of Service” has always been about crushing independent investigative journalists who are willing to ask the tough questions of establishment politicians and point out the hypocrisy of the modern left-wing and jihadist movements across the globe.
In April, Laura Loomer sued Twitter and CAIR for their role in deplatforming her. Read her legal complaint and support her lawsuit at FreeLoomer.com
