After banning several high profile conservatives from Facebook and Instagram this week, accusing them of being “dangerous individuals”, Facebook has been caught supporting ISIS propaganda by allowing the Islamic terrorist organization to use Facebook for recruitment.
In a complaint submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission, a whistle blower alleged that Facebook has been auto generating video propaganda for ISIS and is failing to remove blatantly obvious ISIS symbols, including profile banners of the ISIS flag.
The complaint includes a study that shows Facebook used its auto-generating feature to produce videos that inadvertently help ISIS’s exploits.
Facebook justifies their banning of non-violent conservatives like Laura Loomer, Milo Yiannopoulos, Roger Stone, Alex Jones, and Paul Jospeh Watson by labeling them as “dangerous individuals”.
According to Facebook’s policy rationale regarding “dangerous individuals and organizations”,
“Facebook does not allow any organizations or individuals that proclaim a violent mission or are engaged in violence, from having a presence on Facebook. This includes:
Terrorist activity
Organized hate
Mass or serial murder
Human trafficking
Organized violence or criminal activity
There are actual dangerous individuals and groups on social media…but they aren’t conservative.
They are Islamic terrorist organizations.
When Facebook banned Loomer, Yiannopoulos, Jones, and Watson as “dangerous individuals”, Facebook essentially designated those who were banned as terrorists and violent criminals.
But, they had nothing to say about ISIS, HAMAS, and Muslim Brotherhood, and why these violent terrorist organizations are allowed on Facebook.
Clearly Facebook’s banning on Conservatives is unjustified, because their “dangerous individual” description literally designates one as a serial killer, a murderer, or a terrorist.
None of the Conservatives banned have ever committed a violent crime, and they are certainly not terrorists.
Meanwhile, it doesn’t take much research to quickly see that despite Facebook’s “anti- terror” policy, a plethora of Islamic terrorist organizations including Hamas, Muslim Brotherhood, and ISIS are all active on social media.
According to the National Whistleblower Center,
“In April 2018, Facebook launched a media campaign to promote its “successful crackdown” on the use of its website by terror groups. Citing the role of advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and a growing team of expert human reviewers, Facebook asserted to the public that it could now block 99% of terrorist content of ISIS, al-Qaeda, and affiliated groups before it was reported by users.
Thanks to a whistleblower working with the National Whistleblower Center, we now know that this alleged crackdown and new era of responsibility was a fiction. In a petition filed in January 2019 and updated in April 2019, the anonymous whistleblower delivers an analysis showing that during a five-month period in late 2018, the percentage of profiles of those who identify themselves as Friends of selected terrorist groups removed by Facebook was less than 30%. Of the profiles of those Friends who displayed symbols of terrorist groups, Facebook removed just 38% during the study period.
The petition alleges that not only is Facebook failing to remove terror content, but it is also actively creating new terror content on the website with its auto-generation feature. The petition delivers similar findings about the hate content on the website.
Facebook’s misleading statements about its handling of terror and hate content violate its duties to disclose material information and risks to its shareholders. “
Key findings from the report include:
1. Terror and hate speech and images are proliferating on Facebook
2. Contrary to its assurances, Facebook has no meaningful strategy for removing this terror and hate content from its website
3. Facebook is generating its own terror and hate content, which is being Liked by individuals affiliated with terrorist organizations
4. Facebook is providing a powerful networking and recruitment tool to terrorist and hate groups
5. Facebook has argued it is not a content provider, failing to disclose that it is generating terror and hate content
There is no denying the fact that Facebook’s standards for “hate” are completely biased and unrealistic. Conservatives are constantly banned for “hate speech” when they post facts or pro-Trump memes, but actual terrorist organizations are thriving on social media, and are easily able to use Facebook to recruit terror cells.
Is it Facebook’s position that Laura Loomer, Alex Jones, Milo Yiannopoulos, and Paul Joseph Watson are more “dangerous” than members of ISIS, Hamas, and Muslim Brotherhood?
The bias expressed by communist tech tyrants in Silicon Valley is absurd, and it is now having an adverse effect on US National Security.
Facebook and Twitter are American companies, and thus, their executives should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for aiding and abetting foreign terrorist organizations. By allowing terrorists to have access to Facebook and Twitter, Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey are providing material support to enemies of the state.
However disturbing this is, it should be of no surprise to anyone who has been monitoring the plight of Conservative journalist Laura Loomer, who is now banned on every single social media platform.
Loomer was first to sound the alarm on big tech’s collusion with Islamic terrorist organizations.
On November 21, 2018, Loomer was permanently banned on Twitter for calling Ilhan Omar “anti Jewish” and highlighting Omar’s ties to Islamic terror orgs.
One week later, Loomer handcuffed herself to Twitter where she said,
“Twitter is upholding sharia when they ban me for tweeting facts about sharia law.”
While handcuffed to Twitter, Loomer spoke about how Facebook, Twitter, Google, and Apple were all working with Islamic terrorist organizations to silence Jews, Christians, and Conservatives, and to make the platforms more Sharia compliant.
In January 2019, the Wall Street Journal reported that the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) lobbied Twitter and Facebook to ban Loomer.
CAIR has been designated as a terrorist organization in United Arab Emirates. CAIR claims to be “America’s largest Islamic civil liberties group,” but in 2007, the U.S. government labeled CAIR a co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terrorism trial for financing HAMAS.
Along with being classified as a terrorist organization in the United Arab Emirates in 2014, CAIR has been labeled as a Muslim Brotherhood entity by the United States Justice Department and was found by a federal judge, the U.S. Attorney Generals office, and the Fifth Circuit Court of appeals as having direct ties to Hamas. On July 1, 2009, U.S. District Court Judge Jorge Solis upheld CAIR’s designation as a co-conspirator, saying there was “ample evidence” linking CAIR to Hamas.
Hamas has also been classified as a designated terrorist organization by the U.S. State Department and is listed as a co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation HAMAS terror funding trial in 2008, which is the largest terrorism financing case in U.S. history. In the Covenant of Hamas, which outlines the goals and motive of Hamas and its members, it states that one of its main goals in the destruction of Israel. After the Department of Justice found CAIR conspired with terrorist organizations like HAMAS and the Muslim Brotherhood, the FBI severed ties with CAIR, saying it “does not view CAIR as an appropriate liaison partner.”
In April, Loomer filed suit in Florida against both Twitter and CAIR. The legal complaint outlines how Twitter conspired with an Islamic terrorist organization to ban Loomer, who is Jewish.
It is worth noting that while Loomer is banned on both Twitter and Facebook, CAIR, which is HAMAS, is on both platforms.
How is a Jewish Conservative journalist who exposes Jew hatred and Sharia more “dangerous” than the actual Islamic terrorist organizations that are on social media?
Could it be that Facebook and Twitter aren’t actually concerned with eliminating actual hate and terror online, but are instead using those terms as a way to justify mass banning of conservative accounts?
Facebook and Twitter have a lot of explaining to do…
