In another act of deception in an effort to capitalize off of a tragedy, the Democratic Party has been caught red handed committing fraud by lying about a Marjory Stoneman Douglas student registering to vote the day following the Parkland, FL school shooting in an official Democratic Party fundraising and voter registration email.
On March 2, 2018, the Democratic Party sent out an email titled, “I’m a Parkland student survivor” which they are claiming was written by Marjory Stoneman Douglas student Sara Imam.
The email begins with an emotional recollection of the school shooting which killed 17 people in Parkland, FL, and then continues into a call to action for people to register to vote as Democrats and donate money to the Democratic party in an effort to “end gun violence”. Left out of the email however, is the fact that the testimony used in the email is Fake News.
In the email, Imam claims, “I turned 18 the day after the shooting, and I immediately registered to vote.” It appears as though Imam’s birthday is February 15, but a quick search of Imam’s Florida voter registration reveals that her claim of registering to vote the day after the shooting is entirely false and fabricated. Imam said she “immediately registered to vote”, which is clearly false since May is three months after February.
According to the Florida Division of Elections, Imam registered to vote with “no party affiliation” in Parkland, Broward County Florida, May 18, 2017, which is nearly an entire year before the school shooting, which took place February 14, 2018. In order to register to vote, a person must be 18 years old, which means Imam was at least 18 years old when she registered to vote in 2017, unless she pre-registered, both of which make her claim in the email false. In the database for the Florida Division of Elections, Sara Imam is the only woman with her name and birthday registered to vote in Parkland, FL.
At the end of the email, the Democrats didn’t miss the opportunity to include the following message:
“Contributions or gifts to the Democratic National Committee are not tax deductible. Paid for by the Democratic National Committee, www.Democrats.org”.
This brazen action of deception displayed by the Democratic Party vindicates Conservatives who were vilified, censored, and condemned for accusing the Democratic Party of politicizing the school shooting and using the student survivors as anti-gun pawns for political gain. Adding insult to injury, the Democrats have now been caught using blatant lies to fundraise off of dead children.
Following the Parkland school shooting, liberal mainstream media networks, Democratic lawmakers, and students treated as props in Parkland, FL were quick to fire back at Conservatives, including President Donald Trump who accused the Left and CNN of using the students for the purpose of spreading anti-gun propaganda and scripting responses and talking points for the young high school students.
The DNC has publicly claimed that they have made efforts to reform their organization following recent scandals such as feeding questions to failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton during a 2016 presidential debate hosted by CNN, and reports from former DNC chairwoman Donna Brazile that the DNC hijacked democracy and rigged the primary election against Bernie Sanders. With only three months into the new year, it is once again apparent that the DNC has no intention of changing their deceptive and fraudulent behavior, keeping true to their legacy of lying.
It is worth noting that disgraced former DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), who despite being at the center of an ongoing federal investigation, immediately used the Marjory Stoneman Douglas shooting for political gain, going as far as turning the school vigil into an anti-Trump rally. Wasserman Schultz told Buzzfeed that she personally contacted Parkland students to help them plan anti-gun, anti-NRA, and anti-Trump protests, one day after the shooting.
The Democratic Party did not respond to Loomer’s request for comment regarding the fabricated testimony in their email.
